Enter Drawing for Bose Sound Dock System |
If you're a VEA member and register for Members-Only content by October 31, 2008, we'll enter you in a drawing to win a Bose Sound Dock system that will have your iPod sounding better than you've ever heard it. The Sound Dock comes with a carrying bag (but not an iPod—you'll have to provide that yourself!). In early November, we'll do a random drawing from all VEA members who registered for the site prior to November 1. And one lucky member will win the Sound Dock and carrying bag, which is valued at $458. (If you already registered for members-only access after the new web site launched on August 27, you're automatically entered in the drawing.) Click here and scroll to the bottom of the page for the details on how to register. It only takes a few minutes!

Association Members Are Making the News |
In the past few months, Association leaders in Albemarle, Richmond, Norfolk, and Spotsylvania—as well as VEA President Kitty Boitnott—have been quoted by media outlets across the Commonwealth. Speaking up, and speaking out, is a chance to let your fellow members and the general public know the truth about your Association’s great work and the successes in public education. Check out our updated list of Association members in the news here. And if you want tips on how to work effectively with the media, you’ll find them in the Leader Center section of the VEA web site here.
